The star court theatre is an iconic and much loved venue in lismore with a capacity of 390 people. We also screen regular art house films. We have baby grand on the stage. We are also decorating this bar in the european salon style for use as a wine bar. We have a lighting rig, sound equipment, and a great team of technicians both for sound and lighting available. We have a fully licenced bar in the venue, which is quite separate to the auditorium. Many fine musicians and performers appreciate the wonderful acoustics. Rare nowadays is the sense of theatre and excitement which one notices as soon as one enters the grand auditorium. The venue, whilst having quite a large capacity, still keeps an intimate atmosphere. The new launch of this theatre has created quite a buzz in lismore and residents are very keen to support the come-back of this much loved venue. We have recently done a refurb, a stunning red/gold design, putting in new carpet throughout the bar and auditorium, and have also restored all the beautiful old timber flooring. With a seating capacity of 1500 and with dimmer lights, plush seats and quality acoustics, the Star Court was aptly named.
